Kathmandu–Bardiya–Rara Round Trip
5-day tour
- Day 1:- Kathmandu – Rara Lake Take a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, followed by another flight from Nepalgunj to Rara Airport (Talcha Airport). Upon landing, drive to the entrance of Rara National Park and then take an easy walk to Rara Lake, which takes about 2 hours. Spend the night at a nearby lodge.
- Day 2:- Exploration around Rara Lake After breakfast, hike to Murma Top to enjoy a scenic view of Rara Lake and Valley. Hike back to the lodge for lunch. You can explore the lake shore on foot or optionally, enjoy boating on the lake. Spend the night at your booked lodge.
- Day 3:- Rara Lake Babai Resort, Bardiya After breakfast, walk to the previous drop-off point and drive to Talcha Airport, take a flight back to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival, drive to Karnali Bridge, have a lunch break and then drive to Bardiya National Park. Check in at Babai Resort in the park’s proximity. After dinner, spend the night at the resort.
- Day 4:- Jungle Safari in Bardiya National Park Leave the resort after breakfast to enjoy a thrilling jeep safari in the national park and get, back to the resort for lunch. Later, visit the crocodile breeding center and then the nearby Tharu village to get some insights into the lifestyle and culture of the Tharu ethnic community. Return to the resort and enjoy your dinner.
- Day 5:- Bardiya National Park – Kathmandu Drive to Nepalgunj Airport after breakfast and board your flight back to Kathmandu. We will drop you to your accommodation in Kathmandu, marking the end of a fabulous tour.
