Panauti Community Homestay offers an authentic Nepali hospitality experience in one of Nepal’s oldest towns, just a few hours from Kathmandu. Visitors can immerse themselves in local traditions, socialize with families, enjoy the lush countryside, and use it as a base for hiking to Namobuddha, Dhulikhel, and Sanga. The homestay comprises 17 women-run homes promoting empowerment, most with Wi-Fi, electricity, and private bathrooms. Situated at 1,532 m, Panauti enjoys a warm temperate climate, with the best visiting months from September to May.
